After 5 years of growth and multiple awards under the name ‘The Empire’ we rebranded ourselves as The Butcher and Brewer as we thought it was time for a change for the better. You may wonder how this is possible with our award winning status, but here at The Butcher and Brewer, we believe there is always room for improvement.
Going down the sustainable, traceable route, we now offer the opportunity for you to be able to trace all meat products back to either their local supplier, paddock or farm! We can even tell you the captain’s name of the boat your fish came from.
This new offer is coupled with the other ethos we have taken up since rebranding to The Butcher and Brewer. That being we now offer long slow cooked meals using classing braised and slow roasting techniques, in particular slow smoking. A fine, fine example of this is our “Porkies Revenge”, 400g pork loin chop finely served on creamy mash ….mhmm, we know.
